The majority of the 37 luxurious bedrooms overlook the beautiful Dorset Square garden. This haven of peace was once the original site for Thomas Lord's first cricket ground. The hotel is now famous for its cricket memorabilia such as the room keys which are attached to a mini sized cricket ball providing great amusement for many guests.
Each room & Suite offers: air-conditioning, two-line speaker telephone, voice mail, dataports, radio, wireless internet access, personal mini bar, satellite television, private safes, hair driers and bathrobes.
All rooms have marbled en-suite bathrooms, Frette linens, goose pillows, daily newspapers and work desks.
The AA Rosette award-winning "Potting Shed Restaurant & Bar" is a relaxed and urban place to meet for both residents and non-residents and it can also be reserved for exclusive use.
With mountains of terracotta pots and seed boxes, the restaurant looks just how you would imagine. It serves traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist with a selection of dishes from Southern Italy. Open Monday to Friday for lunch and dinner, Saturday for dinner and Sunday for brunch. Breakfast is served every day.
"The Potting Shed" has a reputation locally as much for its delightful relaxed ambience as for the excellent quality of food. Filled with natural daylight it offers a warm and cosy atmosphere. With live Jazz music from our resident guitarist every Friday from 7pm, it’s the perfect start to your weekend!
