The Stiftskeller St. Peter in Salzburg, Austria
The Stiftskeller is a restaurant in Salzburg and the oldest in Middle-Europe with a history dating back to 803 A.D. It is famous for its 12 dining rooms & parlours and its association to classical music. The restaurant is housed in a medieval building which is the centre of the old part of town next to Salzburg's Dom Cathedral. The restaurant is perfect for special occasions such as engagement parties, weddings, corporate events or just an unforgettable dinner or lunch!
The Stiftskeller offers a variety of menus, some based on seasonal changes and some based on musical events in the city. Mozart is of course a hero here and his wonderful music can be enjoyed with fantastic cooking during many of the restaurant's Mozart themed lunches and evenings.
